About Me

Hi my name is Sia and I am the inventor of Lippy Links.

I was a carer for both my parents who had many health issues. My dad had Alzheimer's and prostate cancer and my mum is house bound and has multiple challenges. I hadn't looked after myself in a long time and I was in need of a treat.

One day I saw a copy of Vogue Australia with a free Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit. I bought it and loved the make up so much that I eventually got 40 more!

I found that once you take the lipstick and lip liner out of the box there is nothing to keep the matching colours together. So I invented Lippy Links.

Lippy Links is made to fit Kylie Cosmetics lipstick and lip liner sizes. So any brand that is the same size will fit, and many do.

During the 5 year long journey I used 2 different designers, contacted 36 manufacturers in 6 countries and 6 box manufacturers to get to my final product.

Along the way my dad and my beloved uncle died as well as three other extended family members. So the journey has been incredibly challening.

Donating Profits to Alzheimer's

In October 2023, my dad lost his battle with Alzheimer's after nearly 13 years of fighting.

As his primary caregiver and daughter, I witnessed his decline from a vibrant, strong man to someone who couldn't even walk, talk, or communicate which was heartbreaking.

I've decided to donate proceeds from sales of Lippy Links to multiple organisations dedicated to researching ways to combat, halt, and ultimately eradicate Alzheimer's.

So when you purchase a packet of Lippy Links, you'll be contributing to research aimed at finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease.

I am proud to say I designed the logo for Lippy Links. I crossed over the two L's of the brand name so it resembles a 'x' like a kiss you put on a card, text message or email!
